With the further easing of the lockdown this weekend I’ve drawn up a list of shops, restaurants and pubs that are open again in Didcot.
Whilst it’s great that Didcot’s Orchard Centre offers big name shopping remember to support local businesses when you’re Christmas shopping in and around Didcot.
Fort Woks is a relatively new Chinese takeaway on Great Western Park in Didcot. It offers a modern menu with a twist, perfect if you fancy something a little different from the other outlets in town. So what did we think of it?
Have you visited any of the Oxfordshire Art Weeks exhibitions yet?
For those not in the know, Oxfordshire Art Weeks gives the public the opportunity to visit local artists and designers. Some exhibitions are in the artist’s studio or home, others are in a central location such as a church.
Along with many other Didcot’ites one of our regular treats is a weekend takeaway. We often end up eating from the same few places (based on the ebb and flow of their food hygiene ratings!) so I’ve decided to branch out and explore more of the eateries in town.
So, my first ‘Weekend takeaway’ is Little India. What did we think of it?
Escape Rooms are all the rage these days. Any town worth its salt seems to have one. And that includes Didcot!
I’m always up for a challenge so decided it was time for a family trip to the Didcot Escape Rooms. Hidden away on Southmead Industrial Estate, our first task was to find it. Fortunately one of the kids spotted a sign and we were soon ringing the bell to enter.
