Whether it’s a hangover cure, post workout treat or Sunday brunch the classic fried breakfast is an ever popular menu option so I’ve rounded up a selection of cafes offering breakfast in Didcot.
Boswells
Large busy cafe in the centre of town. Canteen style service, sometimes long queues to order. Friendly staff. Free Wi-Fi.
Breakfast includes: 2 rashers of back bacon, 2 premium sausages, 2 fried eggs, chips and beans.

Opening hours: Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm, Sunday 10am-4pm.

Sainsburys
A no frills supermarket option, popular with shoppers. Clear your own table.
Breakfast includes: fried egg, 2 sausages, 2 rashers of bacon, hash brown, fresh tomato, baked beans and a slice of toast.

Opening hours: Monday-Saturday 8am-7pm, Sunday 9.30am-3.30pm.

Berro Lounge
The upmarket cafe option in Didcot, although remember to order food at the bar. Berro offers an excellent veggie breakfast option too.
Breakfast includes: smoked back bacon, Gloucester Old Spot sausage, hash browns, baked beans, slow roast tomato, button mushrooms, fried egg and toast.
Price: £7.65
Opening hours: Sunday-Thursday 9am-11pm Friday-Saturday 9am-midnight.

Camara’s cafe
Friendly Portuguese owned cafe with a pool table. Also the place to go if you want to buy a celebration cake.
Breakfast includes: 1 egg, 1 sausage, 2 bacon, tomato, hash brown, black pudding, toast, beans, mushroom.
Price: £6.95
Opening hours: Monday-Thursday 8.30am-5pm, Friday-Saturday 8am-6pm.

Sal’s Snack Bar
Tiny market square cafe. Minimal seating inside, tables and chairs outside, always busy.
Breakfast includes: 2 bacon, 1 sausage, 2 fried eggs, beans and toast.

Opening hours: Monday-Saturday 7.30am-3.30pm, Sunday 8.30am-2pm.

The Chippy
As per its name this is primarily a chip shop but it offers a slightly wider menu choice and small seated area out back.
Breakfast includes: 2 bacon, 2 eggs, 1 sausage, mushrooms, beans and toast.

Hadden Hill Golf Club
On the road out of Didcot, with a view over the golf course. Bar/restaurant with conservatory area. Quick and friendly service. Not many customers at 1pm on a Saturday but possibly all out on golf course.
Breakfast includes: sausages, eggs, bacon, hash browns, baked beans, toast and preserves.
Price: £6.95
